Blue Koo Kuih has the same taste as Ang Koo Kuih except for the color of the kuih.

This Blue Koo is made specially for prayer to the death for the chinese comunity in Malaysia. The blue color resemble male and this Blue Koo is specially made for the prayer of the male deceased. In the ritual, another color, white is also combined together to make it a pair.
